GTA Online's Next Big Update Arriving June 7th

Nearly three weeks ago, Rockstar outlined their plans for Grand Theft Auto Online updates in 2016.

The first of these has been given a little more detail today. Now called "Further Adventures in Finance and Felony", the update is a spiritual expansion to "Executives and Other Criminals". The promotion to CEO of your own Criminal Enterprise will have you acquire high-rise offices and warehouse properties so that you can start "buying and selling a range of contraband across the city".

Felony 3

You'll have to fight both the cops and other players in order to reach rare products that net you the biggest earnings, as evidenced by this "Special Cargo" screenshot where you and your associates creep up on a crashed private plane swarming with FIB:

"Special new vehicles" have been promised too, such as the Pegassi Reaper:

Felony 2

"Further Adventures in Finance and Felony" should arrive on June 7th for Xbox One players. In the meantime, those same players can enjoy "Head to Head Week", which has a focus on Races and Sumo Mode as well as the usual assortment of discounts across Los Santos.

Head to Head Week

In addition to double RP and GTA $ for Races and Sumo Mode, you'll also be able to get Stilt Houses, Dubsta 6x6s (only available if you've hit Level 100) and Armed Insurgents for half price. If you want to get straight in and earn some RP and cash quickly, try out the Featured Playlist any time this week where Rockstar will be focusing on those job types. Just press cn_Y on the loading menu when you boot up the game.

You can also pick up stock car upgrades from Benny's for half price, or grab 25% off a regular Insurgent. Lester is offering his services for just a quarter of the regular price, meaning you can set Bounties, hide from the cops or find a particular car for a fraction of the cost. Finally, the Shrewsbury RPG and Hawk & Little Homing Launcher are 25% off, as is the ammo for these weapons. Get over to Ammu-Nation and stock up if you're going for the final heist this week... trust me.
