The Long Dark Expands to 11 New Regions and Doubles Trial Period

There is good news for players who wanted to try out Hinterland Games' first-person survival game The Long Dark, but found it wasn't available in their region. There is also good news for players who would have liked to have given the game a go, but decided a one-hour trial period wouldn't be enough to give them a solid glimpse of the game.

For those gamers, Hinterland Games have proudly announced they have expanded The Long Dark's availability to 11 new regions.

The new regions are as follows:

• Denmark
• Finland
• Hong Kong
• Netherlands
• Norway
• Poland
• Sweden
• Turkey
• Singapore
• Taiwan
• Belgium
In addition to now being available in more places than ever, the trial period for the Xbox Game Preview Program title has been doubled from one hour to two hours for first-time players.

The developers didn't say much else, but perhaps this is in preparation for the early access title nearing a full release.
