FIFA 17 Reveal Trailer and Pre-Order Details

EA has started to deliver some details on their upcoming release of FIFA 17 ahead of their E3 press conference on June 12th. Earlier today it was announced that the game will now be running on EA's well known Frostbite engine. The engine is said to deliver a very authentic experience for all your football fans, with VP and Executive Producer David Rutter stating:

“Frostbite unlocks a whole new world of possibilities for the FIFA franchise and its fans ... We have never been as excited as we are today about the future of football and the experiences we are going to deliver in FIFA 17.”
Additionally, EA revealed that FIFA 17 has introduced four new football ambassadors; James Rodriguez of Real Madrid C.F., Anthony Martial of Manchester United, Eden Hazard of Chelsea FC, and Marco Reus of Borussia Dortmund, who all worked hand-in-hand with EA Sports in order to make the action on the pitch feel as true to life as possible.

Furthermore the extras you will be receiving for pre-ordering the different versions of the game on the Xbox One have been revealed. The game will have three different versions for fans to choose from, the standard edition, the deluxe edition, and the super deluxe edition. All the goodies included with the pre-order of these versions is detailed below:

Pre-Order Details

Standard Edition

  • Up to five (5) FUT Draft Tokens (one (1) per week over five (5) weeks - worth up to $15)

  • Eight (8) match FUT loan item of Hazard, Martial, Reus, or Rodriguez

Super Deluxe Edition

  • Digital Only
  • Full game
  • Up to 40 FIFA Ultimate Team Jumbo Premium Gold Packs (two (2) per week over 20 weeks - worth up to $120)
  • Three (3) match FUT Team of the Week loan player (up to two (2) players per week over 20 weeks)
  • Eight (8) match FUT loan item of Hazard, Martial, Reus, or Rodriguez
  • Custom FUT kits created by designers or FIFA soundtrack artists
Additionally, any digital pre-order through the Xbox One will give you one free month of EA Access.



FIFA 17 will be available for both the Xbox One and Xbox 360 on September 27th in North America and September 29th Worldwide.
