For the first time ever, a single Star Wars
film is getting its own LEGO
game. In the past we've seen Traveller's Tales release collective adaptations like both previous trilogies of Star Wars
, all seven Harry Potter
stories across two games, and the first three Indiana Jones
movies. Now they've seen it fit to tackle 2015's biggest release by giving LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens
a release all of its own.
The game doesn't just re-enact the Abrams-directed movie shot-for-shot, however. Additional content not seen in the movie will play out like LEGO-fied deleted scenes meant to help paint a bigger picture of the current conflicts plaguing Rey, Finn, and the new heroes of Star Wars
. Like always, we can expect pivotal moments to be recreated with an air of humor, drop-in/drop-out co-op, and a lot of collectibles.
