Developer Turn 10 has just announced that Forza Motorsport 6 will soon play host to the first ever Forza Racing Championship. The event will span across all of Forza's content and, to kick it off, Microsoft is sending out codes to every player who has played Forza Motorsport 6 to unlock the new 2016 #66 Ford GT Le Mans Race Car for free (the codes could take up to seven days to arrive, so sit tight).
Details about the event are sparse, but we know the event will be accessible to players of all skill ranges and playstyles and will reward real-world prizes. While competitive racers will of course have a chance to prove their mettle, even players taking their first laps will find the Forza Racing Championship has something to offer.
Turn 10 assures that everyone will have a chance to win. How? That's what's unclear. When? In the near future. Perhaps we will hear more at E3 where Microsoft is having a dedicated Forza event at an automobile museum in Los Angeles.
We've got the full list of Forza Motorsport 6 achievements - check the list for guides to unlocking them.
