A Week of Heroes with 88 Heroes

If you haven't been keeping up with it, Bitmap Bureau, the developer of the upcoming 2D platformer 88 Heroes where you get to play as (you guessed it) 88 different characters, has been introducing one new hero on their Twitter account daily.

You will play through 88 different levels and have (of course) 88 seconds to complete each one. Your hero will be randomly selected for you and have unique strengths and weaknesses — will the hero hinder your progress, or help you breeze through the level?

Take a look at this week's:

Buggy Boogie

Claire Voyant

Ian Error

Dojo Duo

Fly Guy

Ladder Lola

Major Overload

I don't know about you, but as a person with terrible luck, I am not looking forward to Ian Error. Dojo Duo sounds more like the type of character you can get things done with.

Players still have until the end of June to submit their idea for the 88th hero contest to potentially get their character creation into the finished game. If you like the sound of the upcoming platformer, you can also view the trailer and screenshots here.

88 Heroes is set to bring 88 kinds of craziness to Xbox One on August 8th.
