Take Your First Look at Battlefield 1 Gameplay Shown During E3 Plus More Details

We already know DICE and EA hope Battlefield 1 approaches World War I from a unique perspective. Let's see if they've accomplished this by taking a look at their new trailer, broadcast live from EA's conference at E3. It shows the first clips of gameplay we've seen so far. Motorbikes, horses and more await.

Battlefield once again will include a destructive environment and will this time be joined by dynamic weather. You might have to battle through heavy rain or fog.

There will also be a new way to play called Operations. The Operations mode is "a series of interconnected battles across multiple fronts." What this means is, your actions will have consequences beyond the scope of one match, and will carry into the next.

Enormous new vehicles called Behemoths were also introduced. There is one Behemoth for each battlefield: land, air and sea. Say hello to the Armored Train, Air Ship and Battleship. According to DICE, they are the largest player-controlled vehicle ever seen in a Battlefield game. We can't wait to pilot these in-game.

If you're eager for more, there will be a live stream of a Battlefield 1 match immediately following EA's portion of the show, featuring celebrities like Zac Efron and Jamie Foxx. We'll keep you posted once a video goes up if you happened to miss it live. And remember, you can get access to the open beta by signing up for Battlefield Insider. According to DICE, the beta will be later this summer. The full game is still scheduled for an October 21st release date.
