Mark McMorris Infinite Air
has been announced for Xbox One.
Unlike recently-announced Steep
, which is sort of a rival in terms of release schedule and general snowiness, Infinite Air
focuses on being the ultimate authentic experience for a pro snowboarder. Canadian developers HB Studios have focused on "fluid analog controls and physics-driven animations", allowing you to get truly creative with your trick executions. Speaking of creativity, you'll also be able to create your own runs and your own parks, which you can share with other players.
What's so "infinite" about it, then? Apparently, the mountains will be procedurally generated, which along with an "intuitive map editor" will allow endless possibilities when it comes to carving your own path in the snow. You'll be able to challenge your friends in "Slopestyle, Big Air and Half Pipe competitions" as well as ride with the pros – naturally Mr. McMorris will be making an appearance, but other real-world snowboarders have not been confirmed.Infinite Air
is due in the autumn this year, for Xbox One.
