Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare – More Campaign Chat with Infinity Ward

By Sam Quirke, 1 year ago
Infinity Ward are still doing the rounds to drum up enthusiasm for shooter-in-space Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare. After revealing a few minutes of gameplay footage at the Sony conference, Narrative Director Taylor Kurosaki sat down to chat through some more details whilst walking through the same mission.

Much of the first part of the interview reiterates the ambition to bring a gritty war story to a new setting and the gameplay impacts of being the captain of your own carrier ship. We also hear a bit more about your fighter ship (the Jackal), and the zero-gravity grappling. In the second half of the video we get a little more detail about how this space war gets started.

What about Zombies and multiplayer? The developers are remaining tight-lipped, but more will be discussed on these features at COD XP, taking place between September 4th and 6th in LA.

Infinite Warfare is taking off on November 4th on Xbox One.
