Allison Road Cancelled

By Kevin Tavore,
New developers Lilith Ltd. made a splash last year when they announced their project Allison Road. The prototype for the game was haunting and the promise of intense first person horror ignited the passions of many fans. While the game was never confirmed for Xbox One, the developers said they hoped to bring it out everywhere so Xbox fans certainly had something to look forward to.

Last week, the developers brought some bad news to the table on Twitter:

Just today, we finally got that short statement on the game's Facebook page.

Hi all,
After a long consideration between Team17 and ourselves, we have reached a mutual agreement to end our collaboration on publishing Allison Road under Team17’s Games label.
Sometime things pan out differently than expected as game development and publishing have so many layers of complexity... We’d like to especially thank everyone for their support through-out, it has and will always be appreciated!
Fans are still clamoring for some alternative funding, such as a Kickstarter. If anything materializes, we'll keep you updated but it sounds like the developers aren't hopeful.

We don't have them yet, but we'll publish a story as soon as we pick up the Allison Road achievements.
