Battleborn Double Credits Weekend, Free Loot Codes and Exclusive Skin Codes

By Kelly Packard, 1 year ago
This weekend the Battleborn devs over at Gearbox are going to be out and about playing against the community on all platforms, joined by popular streamers. To celebrate, there are a number of other events going on as well.

Firstly, players can enjoy double credits for the entire weekend. Whether you're saving up for loot packs or the next hero, this will put a little more money in your bank. The event is live now until Monday, June 27th at 8 a.m. PT.

Also be sure to redeem free loot codes the Battleborn Twitter account has been handing out. The codes expire on July 10th, so no worries if you're not going to be able to hop on this weekend.

Here are instructions on how to redeem the codes. They're not Xbox Live codes, but rather can be redeemed through the Battleborn menus:

1. Log into Battleborn and go into the “Extras” menu from the main menu, then select the “SHiFT” section.
2. Sign up for a SHiFT account or log in if you already have one, then redeem the code. SHiFT accounts are free.
3. Once you redeem the code, SHiFT will display confirmation when the code is successfully redeemed.
Lastly, those looking to dress up their heroes have a chance to redeem two exclusive skin codes on social media this weekend:

For a very limited time on Saturday, snag TWO hero skins from the Battleborn social media channels. Follow @Battleborn on Twitter and keep an eye on the Facebook page for a SHiFT code containing Oscar Mike’s golden “Tango Tango” skin AND Rath’s cyber “A Dark Night” skin. These skins will only hang around for a short while before they’re sent back to the void – er – storage.
Gearbox says they've heard the community's request for more events after the success of last month's double XP event, and this is just the first of what they have planned for the future.
