Red Dead Redemption Coming To Backwards Compatibility This Friday

By Andy Mills, 1 year ago
June was one of the biggest months ever for backwards compatibility, with 24 titles added over the course of the month, the largest amount since the initial 100. So how do you top that for July? Well, you add Red Dead Redemption, one of the most requested titles with 148k votes over at Xbox Uservoice (beaten only by The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and Call of Duty: Black Ops II).

John Marston

No matter what version of Red Dead Redemption you own, either the original or the Game Of The Year edition, you'll be able to visit the Wild West with John Marston on Xbox One this Friday July 8th. Oh, and yes, it is part of the Ultimate Game Sale that is going on right now, at 65% off (75% for Gold members).

As always, you can check the full list of backwards compatible titles here.
