Back in May
, Rockstar unveiled some of their plans for Grand Theft Auto V
Online in 2016. The first update was Further Adventures in Finance and Felony
, which allowed you to expand your criminal empire dramatically through dealing contraband. So what's next?
The next update looks like it's going to make the GTA Online experience crazier than ever. With its surreal, brightly coloured floating race tracks, death-defying stunt jumps, loops and speed boosts, it appears that Rockstar are trying to make the irresponsible older cousin that Mario Kart
's mother always warned it about. And it's called "Cunning Stunts", because of course it is.
Stunt Races happen on a massive scale, towering above the Los Santos skyline or soaring between the treacherous blades of RON Alternates Windmill Farm. Vehicles tear upside-down through loops and tubes, launch off ramps with extra propulsion from speed strips, diverge and merge across multiple pathways, and speed through gigantic rings of fire in death-defying new Races.
The new tracks will be accompanied by new Sports cars, Super cars and motorbikes, as well as new threads and tattoos for the daredevil driver. "Cunning Stunts" should be available to download on Xbox One from July 12th.
