Pac-Man Championship Edition 2 Announced

Pac-Man has been kicking around the gaming industry for almost 40 years. With the announcement of yet another Pac-Man title, it doesn't look like he's planning to go away any time soon. Pac-Man Championship Edition 2 has been revealed, a successor to what many would be consider to be the highs in our round yellow friend's lifetime, Pac-Man Championship Edition and the widely-praised Pac-Man Championship Edition DX+.

Pac-Man Championship Edition 2

Announced today by Bandai Namco, the upcoming title will feature new 3D visuals, dynamic mazes and for the first time outside of the Pac-Man adventure titles, boss fights. Score Attack mode from the previous games will return alongside a new Time Attack and Adventure mode which promises "fun new ways of playing PAC-MAN." A trailer has already been released showing this Pac-madness:


Though Pac-Man Championship Edition 2 doesn't yet have a scheduled release date, its release window is not too far off. According to Bandai Namco, we can expect a digital release on Xbox One this September.
