Madden NFL 17 Player Ratings Begin, Rookies React

Madden NFL 17 will be with us soon, and EA are ramping up to release with a breadcrumb trail of player ratings between now and August 4th-5th, by which time we will have a full set of player and team ratings.

Currently being featured are the top rookies. You can see a full list of the top ten and their statistics over on EA's website, where the publisher will be releasing further ratings over the next couple of weeks. The top three rookies revealed were the Jacksonville Jaguars' Jalen Ramsey (82 overall), Ezekiel Elliott of the Dallas Cowboys (80 overall) and the Baltimore Ravens' Ronnie Stanley (79 overall).

To celebrate the release of the first round of ratings, the rookies got in front of the camera to give their predictions, and react appropriately when told the results. A few surprised faces here.

The next rounds have already started arriving in the form of the Top 5 quarterbacks and the five best running backs. Apparently we can expect the top wide receivers shortly.

Madden NFL 17 is due to release on August 23rd for Xbox One and Xbox 360. Remember, EA Access members can play the game early on the One on a Play First Trial, starting August 16th.
