After Disney Infinity announced its discontinuation of the toys in May, it comes as no surprise they have now detailed an outline for the servers' shutdown. All servers will be closed as of March 3rd, 2017 with some versions closing or losing features much earlier. Not so "infinite" after all
Disney outlined the pertinent dates in a post addressing all their Toy Box Builders. If you're playing on console, changes for you begin in September when the Community Team will no longer be reviewing or approving any new Toy Boxes:
As noted in the post, console versions will remain playable after the shutdown date aside from online features. Windows 8 and Windows 10 players do not share the same luck as all versions will "no longer be available, supported or playable" after March 3rd, 2017.

Please check the Disney Infinity
website frequently prior to March 3, 2017 as we will provide the Disney Infinity
community with news and status of the game across all platforms should the status change.
Thank you for your support and enthusiasm through the years.
The entire Disney Infinity
Though there are far too many to list here, especially considering the entire Disney Infinity: Toy Box (Win 8) and Disney Infinity 3.0 Edition (Win 10) achievement lists will be unobtainable after the March shutdown date, this will affect a significant portion of the Disney Infinity series' achievements. You can see which achievements will be affected by going to your specific version's home page and using the Filters to single out achievements requiring online play.
Thank you to many members of the community for sending this one in.
