Celebrate 20 Years of Tomb Raider With New DLC for Rise of the Tomb Raider

By Kevin Tavore, 1 year ago
Rise of the Tomb Raider is Lara Croft's latest adventure and a new version will release this October to celebrate Lara's 20 year anniversary. The new edition of the game will include all previously released DLC plus the new "Blood Ties" single player mode, the "Lara's Nightmare" zombie mode, co-op in endurance mode, the "Extreme Survivor" difficulty for the campaign, a new outfit and gun, and five classic skins.

With the announcement, the official YouTube also brought forth a video showing off the new version of the game and then going into a documentary-style short about Lara's impact on gaming and her fans.

The "Blood Ties" single player mode will launch on October 11th for Xbox One. The announcement did not mention the Xbox 360 or Windows 10 version of the game. It will be available for free to season pass holders. To make it clear, it is not clear whether or not there is a separate 20 Year Anniversary release for Xbox One or if the content is only available digitally.
