Just Sing Announced for September 2016

Ubisoft is gearing up for the 2016 party season with the announcement of new Kinect-enabled game Just Sing. The new music game lets you sing, lip sync and bust out some moves with your friends with local and online play available.

Just Sing doesn't require purchase of any extra peripherals to capture vocal performance, instead being centred around use of smartphones as both microphone and video camera. Players can create unique videos of their performances using 12 video themes, each of which includes four filters and four animated backgrounds.

The Just Sing Companion App will be available on iOS and Android and allows up to four local players to connect their smartphones to the same wi-fi network as the console. As well as being used for video capture, the app will display lyrics and allow players to choose and switch between filters and effects even while singing.

Just Sing has both cooperative and competitive modes. Party Mode allows up to four players to sing or lip sync together for fun while capturing video using either the Companion App or Kinect.

Battle Mode is the competitive side of Just Sing, in which two players go head to head trying to outscore one another. Players can get into singing skirmishes in either local or online play.

Just Sing is about more than just singing, and players can choose to turn off scoring and focus on creating a great lip sync performance. The videos you make can be saved and shared with your friends or with the entire Just Sing community.
