The release date for the hugely hyped and highly anticipated shooter Battlefield 1
may still be a couple of months away but the development team is keen to orient players with some of the weaponry with which they can expect to fight during historical combat.
World War One featured a varied array of weapons, even including hand held spiked maces and clubs, meaning that combat was often up close and personal and fought from very close quarters. It was a different kind of warfare and very different weaponry than that found on the modern battlefield. In the short video, the development team explains some of these aspects.
Players will be able to engage in CQB when Battlefield 1
hits the Xbox One on October 21st, 2016.
