Twin-stick horde shooter #KILLALLZOMBIES
has been announced, and it has an interesting twist on the usual gameplay. As well as your traditional singleplayer and co-op modes, there is also a "streaming mode". By streaming in this mode via Twitch, spectators can use chat commands to directly affect gameplay.
Viewers will be able to help or hinder the player through text-based inputs such as health increases and decreases, weapon drops, "floor hexes" and, of course, more zombies. They can even manipulate the camera angle or control scheme... but no one on Twitch is that mean, right?
Here's a trailer to see what the game is all about, plus a couple of screens from the PlayStation version of the game:
The video says "now available" at the end, but that's likely referring to the PlayStation 4 version, which has been available for a couple of years. The Xbox One version of #KILLALLZOMBIES
will be arriving on August 10th.
