The saying goes that good things come to those who wait. In this case, gourmet things come to those who wait. If you didn't pick up this month's Overcooked
yet, perhaps due to a preference of having a physical copy to display on the living room shelf, you are in luck as Ghost Town Games' hit title will be getting a Gourmet Edition at retail later this year.
The chaotic co-op cooker has been received positively across many outlets, including our site review
gave it 3.5/5 stars. Our users rated it even higher at 4.5/5 stars as of this writing. The general consensus seems to be that it's best enjoyed with a buddy in local splitscreen mode.Overcooked: Gourmet Edition
will include all the features of the digital version and some bonus content to boot, which consists of six new levels and a new theme as well as six new creature-themed chefs: Dinosaur, Robot, French Bulldog, Panda, Bear and Pig. Whether or not this extra content will be available later as DLC for players who already own the game is unclear.
The Gourmet Edition doesn't yet have a release date, but will still make it to retail shelves this year sometime in Q4.
