The Farm 51 and Bandai Namco have confirmed the release window for their upcoming first-person shooter, Get Even. Alongside the announcement comes brief details on the story, new screens, and an announcement trailer.

Cole Black, one of the characters in the game, awakens in an old abandoned asylum. The only thing he can remember is an "attempted rescue of a teenage girl with a bomb strapped to her chest". As for the rest of his memories, they are all gone. This is the only "clue" Bandai Namco released along with a couple of statements from their team. Samuel Gatté, Production & Product Support Senior Director, at Bandai Namco, speaks on how immersive the experience will be:

In GET EVEN, the strong story and memorable characters really immerse the player in a very thin boundary between virtuality and reality. Hopefully we've created an experience that will be as meaningful as it is unforgettable.
Wojciech Pazdur, Development Director at The Farm 51, is grateful for the support from Bandai Namco after they were confirmed as the title's publisher a couple of weeks ago:

GET EVEN is the biggest title that has ever been produced in our studio – it features the deepest story and the most advanced technology our teams have ever worked on. Thanks to the support we are receiving from BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment Europe, we have now taken this up to the next level and polished every aspect of the game in ways that were not possible before. Today, we are extremely happy that we can finally show the new face of Get Even to both players and media, immersing them into a new experience and asking them to find out “What is real?”
Take a look a the new set of screens that are spooky, mysterious, and a bit creepy too:

Bandai Namco has released the announcement trailer showcasing the twisted story and use of Auro-3D acoustics technology:

Get Even will be coming to the Xbox One in Spring 2017.
