Resident Evil 4 Achievement List

By Mark Delaney, 1 year ago
Plenty of fans say that it's the pinnacle of Capcom's long-running series, while others say that it was too far removed from the franchise's original presentation. Whatever it was, some say that it marked the beginning of the end for Resident Evil. Once a GameCube exclusive, Resident Evil 4 has since been ported to nearly every console since its initial debut. Why? Because it's a landmark game for the series.

Gone were the traditional undead enemies, the fixed camera angles, and a great deal of the slow, unnerving atmosphere. Resident Evil 4 still brings with it plenty of scares, however. They're just... different. Grotesque boss battles and relentless hordes of sickly villagers (did I just hear a chainsaw?) stand between you and, bear with me here, your mission of rescuing the President's daughter. It's perfectly indicative of that Capcom flavor -- memorably over the top and satisfyingly challenging. Here's a look at the game's achievements. Some of you are surely excited to complete it yet again.

There are 12 achievements:
  • It Begins With a Ring - Ring the mysterious bell. What happens after that, is up to you. (50 GS)
  • Do Not Shoot the Water! - Summon the master of the lake. Don't rock the boat. (50 GS)
  • A Rock and a Hard Place - Outmaneuver the rampaging beast, El Gigante. (50 GS)
  • Secure the Ballistics - Rescue the president's daughter, Ashley. Afterwards, the real fun begins. (50 GS)
