ReCore Preps for Launch With Story Trailer

ReCore is just about two weeks out from its September 13th launch date. In today's trailer, instead of being greeted with action-filled gameplay like last time, we receive some narration on the story, which is surprisingly touching.

If you don't have time to give it a watch for yourself, the narration is words of wisdom bestowed upon Joule when her father left. Why he left, or where to, isn't detailed, but we may have just gotten our first peek into the plot. He left her with his tricks of the trade, such as elusiveness and causing chaos. He also left her with her Carebot friends, saying, "You don't have to watch your back when a friend always has it."

In an Xbox Wire post, Joseph Staten, ReCore's Senior Creative Director, also revealed some of the voice cast: Joule (Erika Soto, Halo Wars 2), Dr. Adams (Connor Trinneer, Stargate: Atlantis and Star Trek: Enterprise), and, seen for the first time in today's trailer, Kai Brehn (Harry Shum Jr., Shadowhunters: The Mortal Instruments and Glee).

ReCore will be available on for Xbox One and Windows 10 on September 13th as a part of the Play Anywhere program.
