South Park's Nosulus Rift VR Left Quite An Impression at Gamescom

By Mark Delaney, 10 months ago
Days before Gamescom, Ubisoft produced what seemed like a joke ad to promote South Park: The Fractured but Whole. "Introducing the Nosulus Rift", it stated, before revealing an olfactory-focused VR device. Wearing it over your nose was meant to "enhance" the gameplay experience with The Fractured But Whole. Nosulus Rift

To would-be early adopting weirdos, it might come as a disappointment that the Nosulus Rift is just clever marketing. When The Fractured But Whole hits stores on December 6th, you'll have to enhance your gameplay experience the old fashioned way.
