Virginia's Cinematic Trailer Deepens The Mystery

By Mark Delaney, 1 year ago
"A small town with a secret". That's how the setting of Variable State's under-the-radar Virginia is being described. If such a description conjures imagery of David Lynch's landmark weirdness that is Twin Peaks, it should. Lynch's cult series, as well as The X-Files, two series that are forever linked and likened by genre fans, both serve as huge inspirations for the enigmatic Virginia.

Not much was known about it before the achievement list appeared on site about a week ago, but this cinematic trailer finally shares some information, but not without ramping up the WTF factor of the whole game, too.

Virginia is a story-driven and paranoia-filled adventure game. If you like what you've seen, you won't have to wait long for it. It's coming to Xbox One in just a few weeks, on September 22nd.
