Clustertruck Previews Platforming Highway Madness

Clustertruck, an obvious play on the word "clusterpuck" (what did you think I was going to say?), is celebrating its Steam launch with a new gameplay trailer. We first saw the ID@Xbox title at the Pre-PAX Open House and learned it was a platformer with a unique setting — it takes place atop trucks being driven (poorly!) down the freeway at high speeds. In case that wasn't tough enough, as the game goes on longer and increases in difficulty, you'll be greeted with swinging hammers, lasers, flamethrowers and more.

Clustertruck looks to boast quite a few features, including leaderboards, a level editor and replay system, and abilities to complement your platforming capabilities such as a grappling hook and the ability to control time. Of particular interest is, in the developers' words, "a campaign mode which gradually gets more and more evil."

When can you get your hands on this truck-jumping insanity? Clustertruck currently has no release date for Xbox One, but is launching on September 27th on Steam.
