Gears of War 4 Gets an Early Launch Trailer

By Kelly Packard, 1 year ago
Is it still called a "launch" trailer if it's released three weeks before a game's actual release date? Apparently The Coalition thinks so, seeing as today they have released a video tagged as Gears of War 4's official launch trailer.

There's not much to say to preface the video. It's narrated by Mr. Marcus Fenix himself, set to a cover of Metallica's "Nothing Else Matters" and is most likely something you'd like to avoid if you're not keen on spoiling aspects of the story for yourself. Without further ado, here is Gears of War 4's "launch trailer":

Gears of War 4 is launching worldwide on Xbox One and Windows 10 on October 11th with October 7th access for players who pre-ordered certain editions and consoles. If you still need to catch up on the latest news, be sure to check out the full reveal of the requirements for the Seriously 4.0 achievement, a look at Horde mode or the full VOD of the Gears Comic Con panel.
