Word Puzzle Joins Backwards Compatibility

By Kelly Packard, 1 year ago
Here's a blast from the past — Word Puzzle. The 2007 Xbox Live Arcade title based off word search puzzles is now officially a part of the backwards compatibility program. This little game hails from the days when downloadable titles had 12 achievements with a maximum of 200 gamerscore and still had gamer picture packs with which to accompany your purchase, if you so desired.

According to the books, Word Puzzle has never been on sale despite its age and is staying strong at the going price of US$9.99. It features four varied game modes with different puzzles and stages as well as multiplayer up to four players. All of its 12 achievements are still obtainable. Only 11.15% of those who have started it have completed it, so perhaps its backwards compatible status will rejuvenate interest in completing the puzzler.

That was the only addition for today, folks! If you'd like to check out the full list of backwards compatible games, you can view the full list here. If Word Puzzle strikes your fancy, you can purchase it via its store page here.
