ReCore Update Will Improve Load Times

By Kelly Packard, 1 year ago
An update is being pushed out this week for September 13th's ReCore. The main goal of the patch is to improve the noticeably-long loading times, which were one of the main downsides our Newshound Manager Rebecca pointed out in her review:

While I've already mentioned a couple of the game's bugs and questionable design decisions, it would be remiss of me not to mention any of the others. The first and most noticeable of these is the game's loading times. These can range from a couple of seconds if you happen to be near to your respawn point, to a few minutes to load a new area or to reload your spawn point from a couple of rooms back. During my numerous attempts to defeat one notable boss, at least a third of my playtime was spent in loading screens.

The developer post did not mention if this patch will address other issues gamers have noticed, such as broken achievement tracking, but has acknowledged via ReCore's support website that they are aware of and working on the achievement issue.

There is no date for the patch currently, but as it's supposed to go live "this week," you should be seeing it soon. The patch is only for the Xbox One version.
