Next Week's ReCore Update Targets Achievement Issues

When browsing our ReCore forum, you'll find no shortage of gamers experiencing achievement tracking bugs. This particular issue even affected our reviewer, Rebecca, in her playthrough of the new release. Armature Studios hopes to address this problem, among other things, in next week's patch.

The upcoming patch is only for the Xbox One version of ReCore. There are no detailed patch notes, but Xbox Community Manager Josh Stein reports that with the new patch "you will experience decreased loading times, see audio and visual improvements, and notice improvements to issues you may have experienced with waypoints, achievement tracking, collision locations, checkpoints and respawn points." This is in addition to last week's patch, which already provided relief for some of the long loading times.

If you're a Windows 10 user, there has been a fix for you too. The patch is different than the Xbox One version, and instead addresses a specific issue where the full game would download again during a patch instead of only downloading the update. The Windows 10 patch is already available. For details on how to make sure you're running the correct version, check out the official post here.

The Xbox One update that will fix the achievement issues and more is scheduled to go live on Wednesday, October 5th.
