Bonus Credits for Playing Rise of the Tomb Raider Next Week

Rise of the Tomb Raider is launching on PS4 next week and with it, we're getting loads of new content on Xbox One and Windows 10. That content includes a new expansion, a zombie mode, and plenty of other minor DLCs like costumes and score attack that should further increase the longevity of the game. It's all available for free if you own the season pass.

Every game needs a zombie mode.

Part of the content is a credit system. You earn credits by playing the game and completing challenges. Credits are used to purchase Expedition Card Packs, which give you modifier cards you can use to mix up the game. The cards do things like make enemies' heads bigger while others give you bonuses or make things tougher.

To get you started, if you play Rise of the Tomb Raider within the first week of the DLC's release next Tuesday, you'll get 100,000 credits for free! All you have to do is log in and play around a bit before Tuesday, October 18th at 11:59PM. Should be quite rewarding!

The new DLC will release on October 11th and is free to season pass owners.
