Aside from some re-releases including Syberia
and Syberia 2
for the Xbox 360, fans of the point-and-click adventure series haven't caught up with Kate Walker since the second installment's original launch in 2004. And they're just going to have to wait a little longer, developer Microids announced.
Though a delay can sometimes instill fear in concerned players' hearts, they promise it's to make the game better. Elliot Grassiano, Vice President of Microids, cited the addition of new cinematic sections, an increase in "optional narrative sequences," and more voice-over languages, which will include French, Russian, Polish and German.
Well, that all sounds reasonable to me. Though there is no new scheduled release date, Syberia 3
is now looking at a launch sometime in Q1 2017.
