Military Madness: Nectaris and Omega Five Now Backwards Compatible

By Kelly Packard,
If there's one obscure thing with which to credit Xbox's backwards compatibility program, it's never failing to remind us of old Xbox Live Arcade titles we forgot about long ago. Today we see two such titles added to the program with 2009's Military Madness: Nectaris and 2008's Omega Five.

The former, Military Madness, is a turn-based strategy game that can be enjoyed in up to four-player co-op. The completion doesn't look too bad with an overall 1.9 ratio and the most time-consuming achievement being a grind to level 50.

The latter, Omega Five, sees your character in a totally not cliche at all story line where you save the planet from bad guys. Pick either the samurai, pirate or alien and get ready to fire in this shoot 'em up. If you're gunning for that 100%, it's about a 2.12 ratio with the most difficult achievements being for beating the game with each character without any continues.

Neither title had enough voters to gain a solid picture of the time commitment required to earn all of the achievements. If you'd like to add either one to your collection, they're both on the Marketplace for US$9.99 (Military Madness link here and Omega Five link here). Both titles are now available to play on Xbox One via the backwards compatibility program.
