Space Hulk: Deathwing Releases 17 Minutes of Uncut Gameplay

By Ashley Woodcock,
Did you like what you watched of Space Hulk: Deathwing's first-look gameplay earlier this year? If you've been patiently waiting for another serving of gameplay, not only do you have an incredible amount of patience but you'll also be very interested to see what's new in this recently released video that includes 17 minutes of uncut gameplay.

Space Hulk Deathwing 1

Taken from the solo campaign where players will take on the role of a Librarian of the Dark Angels' 1st Company, the Deathwing, swarms of Genestealer try to put an end to your adventure as you oppose them with a Storm Bolter and Force Sword in hand. The Librarian can use powerful psychic abilities such as chain lighting and shockwave thanks to the Librarian being a Psyker. Not only will you need to master your own powers, but you will also need to put the armoury of the Deathwing company to efficient use as well command your squad members to help prevent the xenos threat.

Focus Home Interactive, publishers behind the title, has more details on the Genestealers:

The Genestealers adapt their behaviour, based on their numbers, their type, and your actions. Commanding your teammates to cover you, block doors to prevent genestealers from flanking you, heal you, or hold a key position, is vital to survival in the depths of the Space Hulk. By playing the campaign you also unlock new weaponry for use by you and your squadmates, along with gaining experience to spend on three skill trees to unlock powerful new abilities.

Space Hulk: Deathwing will now be releasing in Early 2017.

We don't have them yet, but we'll publish a story as soon as we pick up the Space Hulk: Deathwing achievements.
