Modern Warfare Remastered's Remaining Maps and More Arrive in December Update

By Kelly Packard,
At first announcement, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered caused controversy due to its exclusivity and the omission of several famous maps. Shortly after, we found out that the remaining maps would be added as part of an update. That update, which will also add two game modes and turn one of the maps winter-themed, has been dated for next week.

The maps being added are as follows. There are six classics finally making their return in addition to a winter-themed version of Crash:

  • Strike
  • Pipeline
  • Showdown
  • Bloc
  • Wet Work
  • Countdown
  • Winter Crash
The Gun Game and Hardpoint game modes, which were not in the original Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, are also being added with the patch.

Everything will be available via a free update that arrives next week on December 13th.
