Gigantic Enters Open Beta - Try It Now On Xbox One and Windows 10 By Ashley Woodcock, 10 Dec 2016 FollowtopicsGiganticMotigaFree to PlayOnline MultiplayerMOBAAshley Woodcock Last month, we gave away 10,000 closed beta keys for Gigantic's Closed Beta as thousands of TrueAchievements users took the chance to get hands on with the game. We even took the game for a spin ourselves but if you didn't take the time out to see what the MOBA is all about, then another opportunity has come to light thanks to the Open Beta that's recently gone live for the game.Available via the Windows Store (Windows 10 PC's and Xbox One) in North America and Western Europe, the Open Beta will feature cross-play between the different platforms. However, if you want even more from your time in Gigantic, you can go all the way and purchase the "Founder's Pack" for $39.99 or your regional equivalent that will give you access to all current 16 heroes, a further four upcoming heroes and "additional unique rewards". With a value of over $150, this pack offers mighty savings for those looking for a full-on experience from the get go.During the Open Beta, the game will feature a weekly rotation of six heroes from the roster of 16. Offering unique playstyles, each hero can be customized further thanks to the comprehensive skill trees during each match. Use your favourite character as part of a team and work together with others to attack enemies and claim points. Once enough points have been earned, teams will then be able to summon powerful creatures to aid them in battle. To be crowned victorious, teams must overpower their opponents Guardian. The action will take place on one of three maps with each being rotated weekly: Siren’s Stand, Ghost Reef and Sanctum Falls.Take a look at a few screens followed by the launch trailer for the Open Beta:The Open Beta is available to check out right now. We've got the full list of Gigantic achievements - check the list for guides to unlocking them.More Gigantic stories: Xbox MOBA will return almost six years after discontinuing its achievements July 2018 Delistings: Adventure Pop, Evolve, Shank, Gigantic and More Gigantic Update Merges All Queues Into North American Servers Gigantic Servers Close in July Gigantic Infernal Hunt Update Preview and Creature Preview Game PreviewDemoVideoScreenshotsUpcoming ReleaseXbox OneWindows Written by Ashley WoodcockAssistant News Manager for TrueAchievements and member of the Newshounds team since 2010.
