-- the latest game from Castle Crashers
creators The Behemoth -- will be joining Game Preview, Xbox's early access program, in January, the developer has announced. As well as being the first game they've released on two platforms in the same year (they're also releasing in Early Access on Steam), this will also be the first time The Behemoth has released anything in an early access program. Let's hope it goes well!
Despite not being the full game, it does look like Pit People
is set to have plenty for people to play with. It will contain a "sizeable chunk" of the game's story as well as several maps and quests, the "Unfair Challenge" against AI and a Versus mode. In addition, you'll be able to play by yourself or cooperatively with a friend, either locally or online. While in Game Preview, The Behemoth will continue development -- as one would hope! -- adding story missions, quests and more along the way, including the implementation of feedback from the community. Pit People
will launch on Game Preview on January 13th at a discounted price of US$15 as appreciation to those who support the game early. When the game launches fully at a currently unknown date, it will cost US$20.
