While it's not yet rivaling Minecraft's complete platform dominance, between the various Windows and mobile versions, Age of Empires: Castle Siege is available in quite a few places. One more will be added to the list with an approaching Android version.
The on-the-go strategy game originally made its mark on Windows Phone and Windows 8 in 2014, later being both updated for Windows 10 and ported to iOS. Like the other versions, it will feature cross-platform saves and progression between all of the different versions. Of course, an achievement hunter's favorite part of developer Smoking Gun's approach to cross-platform saves is that any earned achievements instantly pop upon starting up the game on another platform and logging into one's account.
Age of Empires: Castle Siege will be available on Android in early March. In a statement made by the developers, they said they plan to support the RTS for years to come, with the announcement of the Android port being "just the start of an incredible year for Age of Empires: Castle Siege."
