Tekken 6, Midway Arcade Origins and Mutant Storm Empire Now Backwards Compatible

By Kelly Packard,
After a brief holiday relief, Xbox's backwards compatibility team is back to the grind and they're hard at work in 2017, already delivering big-name titles like Battlefield 3, Battlefield: Bad Company 2 and Dragon Age: Origins. The team is at it again and have today announced the additions of Tekken 6, Mutant Storm Empire and Midway Arcade Origins.

Including the three from today, we've already seen 13 backwards compatible games in 2017, not too shabby considering it's only the 19th day of the month. If you missed it, the drop with Battlefield, Dragon Age and more can be found here and two Mega Man games were added here.

As is to be expected with backwards compatible games, there is usually a brief gap between when the games are announced to be joining the program and when they go live, so they may not be ready for install quite yet. Rest assured they'll be available sometime today if they're not already.
