Rocksmith 2014 Edition Remastered Receives a Small Update

By Ashley Woodcock,
A small patch has been automatically released for Rocksmith 2014 Edition on the Xbox One. Containing a small number of changes, the patch is still "coming soon" to the Xbox 360 version of the title. Take a look at the very small list and see if any of the fixes are what you've been patiently waiting for:

June 11th

  • Input gain/calibration issues — if your guitar or bass was not heard by the game or you were asked to constantly recalibrate it, that should not be an issue any more. (This, along with the cable detection issue, was fixed for PC about two weeks ago.)
  • "Null pointer" crashes should be eliminated
  • Various stability improvements. This should hopefully fix the seemingly random crashes some players were experiencing, particularly on PS4.
The patch has already been applied to the Xbox One version of Rocksmith 2014 Edition Remastered. The Xbox 360 version should arrive within the next few days.
