, a puzzler with a cooperative focus, has been release dated for March.
The game sees players guiding robots to their individual waypoints in levels that continue to ramp up in difficulty. It's all or nothing — if one robot dies, everyone goes back to square one and the level restarts. There is a lot of trial and error to be had here, or perhaps a lot of yelling at one another.
The story mode can be played with up to two players locally and there are also party games designed to be played in groups of four. The party games can also be played with two people each controlling two robots. Death Squared
was designed with cooperative in mind even for the story mode, so even though one player could control two robots throughout the entire story, it sounds substantially more difficult.
launches on Xbox One on March 14th through the ID@Xbox program.
