Update

NBA 2K17 will be free-to-play through until February 19th. The game will also be on sale with a 45% discount until February 20th.

Original Story

There are a few different free offerings available right now and through until the end of the weekend in the form of a couple of different games being free-to-play for a limited time, and Xbox LIVE being accessible for the weekend for those without a Gold membership.

Rocket League

First up, developer Psyonix's much-loved and popular title Rocket League, which also bagged a couple of Game Of The Year 2016 awards for Best ID@Xbox title and Best Sports title, will be available to play for free for a limited time for those with an Xbox LIVE Gold membership who are still yet to check the game out.

On top of that, if you end up enjoying the game that much and want to add the title to your game collection, then you will be able to do so at a discounted price as the title will see its original price cut by 25% just for this weekend. Check your regional price and make a purchase before the weekend is up, right here. Rocket League is free-to-play right now through till 11:59pm PST on February 20th.

2K Sports and Visual Concepts NBA 2K17 will also be free-to-play this weekend. Be warned however if you care about full completions as the game currently has one unobtainable achievement. An end date to the free-to-play weekend for this title wasn't announced but it's safe to assume it will be around the end of February 19th.

Lastly, Xbox LIVE itself is free for the weekend as those without Xbox LIVE Gold can join in on the many different ways to enjoy multiplayer gaming.

The two free-to-play titles are available to check out without any charge right now, and the Multiplayer All-Access event is already in progress and will run through until February 19th on both the Xbox One and Xbox 360.
