Weekend Headlines Feb 17-19th Part 2: Trailers, Screenshots and More

Following on from the announcements, updates and release dates that occurred this weekend, we now have the trailers, screenshots and other details that were also revealed over the three day period.

Trailers

Grab the popcorn because we'll be here for a while. Fury Unleashed will be entering Steam's Early Access program on February 24th. To celebrate that fact, developer Awesome Games Studio released a new trailer. The game will appear on Xbox One later this year.


The development of Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night is coming along nicely. In the latest update from Inti CREATES, the game's creator IGA interviews Michiru Yamane, the lady who has composed the game's soundtrack.


In Buck, players will face many enemies and challenges as they travel through the post-apocalyptic wasteland. What will be your weapon of choice?


Bedtime Digital Games, the developer behind Figment, is releasing a series of developer diaries that chart the progress of the game as it heads towards release. In the latest diary, the game's programmers Dion and Jón talk about the technical side of development and the challenges that it brings.


While FlatOut 4: Total Insanity had already been confirmed for consoles, developer Kylotonn Games teamed up with publisher Strategy First to bring the game to Steam. While this announcement wouldn't usually be of interest, it did bring along a new trailer:


Human Fall Flat was revealed for consoles nearly a year ago, but No Brakes Games has now confirmed that they have teamed up with Curve Digital to make sure that the game definitely makes it to Xbox One. Check out the latest trailer where players use ragdoll physics to help Bob navigate the puzzles of the game's dreamscapes.


Skara: The Blade Remains is still in open alpha on Steam and it just received a new patch. You can see a sample of the gameplay as it stands right now in the trailer below.


Just three months remain until The Surge is released on an Xbox near you. In the video below, you can watch 14 minutes of gameplay, commentated by Deck13's Game Designer Adam Hetenyi. Engineer Thorsten Lange explored the "dystopian environments in CREO’s mysterious industrial and RND complex, the Abandoned Laboratories".


Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor – Martyr has also just entered alpha on Steam. This version of the game is known as The Founding, named after the founder players who will provide the vital feedback that will be used to shape the game into its final form. Meanwhile, take a look at the latest trailer:


We Happy Few introduced players to a new character — Nick Lightbearer. The video is intended to show off the character's animation and his peculiar state of mind; it may not reflect any final cutscenes.


Screenshots

In Blackwood Crossing, players control Scarlett, a 14 year old girl. AFter her parents died suddenly when she was seven, she grew up on her grandparents' farm. After being wrenched out of her old familiar life, Scarlett has always felt out of place. The development team went through many personality types and appearances before th team settled on her current persona. They've even created a backstory for her. You can read about all of this in more detail here.

The Inner World - The Last Wind Monk will be released this summer after Xbox One players have had a chance to play the game's prequel, The Inner World. To tide you over until that time, we have two more screenshots for you to scrutinise:


Over the weekend at Monaco Anime Game International Conferences, KINGDOM HEARTS III director Tetsuya Nomura spoke about his work and his career. He also showcased a new screenshot.
