This months edition of Official Xbox Magazine UK, reveals the first details of Too Human
developer, Silicon Knights' X-Men: Destiny
According to OXM's four page preview, the game is set in a time when anti-mutant sentiment is at an all time high, hate crimes are the norm and the X-Men are seen as a threat. Add in the mix a recent devastating loss for the X-Men, and the promise that there will be "tough decisions that an average X-Man has to make", and you have all the makings of a great story.
You will play as the the child of a "human zealot" who considers mutants to be "nature's greatest mistake", and have the pick of three different candidates to choose from, each of which have been officially integrated into the X-Men canon. As you progress, X-Genes will allow you to modify and enhance your mutant powers by colleting the genes of other mutants, adding further to the games "decision moments".
Unsurprisingly, X-Men: Destiny
will be packed full of recognisable faces including Magneto, his son Quicksilver, Wolverine, Gambit, Surge and Cyclops.
