Wordament on Windows 10 to Become Microsoft Ultimate Word Games

By Kelly Packard,
Microsoft's free Universal Windows Platform word game Wordament will be seeing some big changes soon. It has been announced via the game's official Facebook page that the title will undergo a name change, receive two more modes plus a heap of new features, and more.

The first and most important thing to know is that the changes will only be affecting users running Windows 10. Those on Windows 8, Android and iOS will not see any changes to their Wordament experience.

Those who are on Windows 10, however, have a lot to look forward to. Firstly, the title won't be called Wordament anymore. Instead, it'll be called Microsoft Ultimate Word Games. Why? Because two more games are being added, so it's not just Wordament anymore. It'll now be a combo pack containing Wordament, Jumble and Crosswords.

When the change goes live, the Microsoft Ultimate Word Games version of Wordament will also be updated with "a brand new single player mode we think you’re really going to love, Daily Challenges, and keyboard support!"

A user in the comments section has already done us the favor of asking the question on most TA users' minds: With such a substantial update, and the addition of two new modes, will this bring more achievements? The official Wordament account replied with "You bet there will! smile"

The post also reveals the news that Microsoft would like to bring Ultimate Word Games to more platforms, but does not have any specific platforms or release dates to announce at this time.
