LEGO Worlds and Verdun - First Hour of Gameplay

By Dave Horobin,
Yesterday was another double stream on our Beam channel. First up, Rich and Jack played the new first-person shooter from the ID@Xbox program, Verdun, and then Jack moved on to LEGO Worlds while Rich built a LEGO spaceship.

You can see how they got on below:

We are using a fresh Gamertag (True IDatXbox) for our ID streams. You can see our achievement unlocks from yesterday's streams here and here.

You can see our schedule for the rest of the week on the homepage and keep up to date with all the videos on our YouTube channel.

Lego Worlds is awesome...cheers guys. This answered a lot of the questions I had about the game. These first hour things are great....even if they are while I'm at work!

I don't know, I was hyped when LEGO Worlds when it was announced, but the more I see of it, the worse it gets.

It looks to be an awful game, and the first hour clip affirmed that for me.

My girlfriend is a PS4 gamer who has it from Pre-Order and I can confirm it is pretty crap. I really did not enjoy it at all. Only played it for 2 hours so perhaps its too early to call it.

5/10? Camera is awful, is extremely repetitive and as a whole seems unfinished. Shame, because the more "normal" lego games are a blast.

I have lego worlds and have played it for around 7 hours now. I really like it but it is unfinished - feels like a preview programme game. The worlds don't load fast enough (sometimes appearing as a hole in the world which gradually fills but can take several minutes), chests glitch, you glitch through the floor and ceiling at times and the game occasionally crashes, so it's full of bugs. It's definitely like lego minecraft once you get out of the tutorial - many discoveries to make but no crafting involved. It's quite cheap so worth a go if the video interested you.

Online is also glitchy. I've played only Co op so far - both split screen (majority) and online.

EDIT: Now have corrupted worlds and immense lag at times. This is definitely unpolished. Treat it as a preview programme game - hopefully they'll massively patch it as it is a great exploration game.
