In just a few weeks, we've gone from not even knowing to which platforms Wonder Boy: The Dragon's Trap
would be coming, when it would be releasing, or much else. We probably have the Nintendo Switch to thank for all of the recent news regarding the remake of the Sega Master System title; developer Lizardcube recently announced it to be coming to that platform.
The developers have also slowly been revealing the updated versions of the game's classic animal forms via their Twitter account. Latest on the menu is the Hawk-Man:
Lizardcube has also included a few nods to the game's homage. Players will be able to switch between the retro and modern graphics with a push of a button, and you can "input your old Sega Master System passcode to unlock all of your old saves and progression – just how you left them in 1989."Wonder Boy: The Dragon's Trap
