Introducing Easter Egg Hunt - A New TrueAchievements Contest

By Dave Horobin, 1 year ago
With Easter fast approaching, we wanted to mark the occasion here on TrueAchievements with the introduction of an egg-citing new contest called Easter Egg Hunt.

Easter Egg Hunt

What is Easter Egg Hunt?

Easter Egg Hunt gives you the chance to gain some value from those annoying 0 GamerScore achievements that have previously seemed worthless — I'm looking at you Quake II — and conveniently for us, they kinda look like the shape of an egg.

Can you see where we're going here?

The contest begins this coming Friday, April 14th at 0:00 UTC, and to register all you need to do is head over to the Easter Egg Hunt hub and hit the "Register Now" button on the right-hand side of the page.

Once registered, the goal of the contest is simple; you have until April 27th at 0:00 UTC (two weeks) to unlock as many 0 GamerScore achievements as possible. At the end of the contest, the person who has unlocked the most 0GS achievements wins and is crowned our Easter Egg Hunt 2017 champion!

Which Achievements Count?

The achievements must be earned online and have a valid timestamp.
Only game and app achievements count — Xbox One Challenges do not count.

N.B. If you have only earned 0 GamerScore achievements with no other achievements in-between, you will need to manually request a scan for them to be seen by the scanners.

Is There a Prize?

Of course!
  • First Place: A gold Easter Egg Hunt 2017 badge to show off on your profile, 12-months of TA Pro and a TrueAchievements t-shirt from our next merchandise run.
  • Second Place: A silver Easter Egg Hunt 2017 badge to show off on your profile and six-months TA Pro
  • Third Place: A bronze Easter Egg Hunt 2017 badge to show off on your profile and six-months TA Pro
