The Easter weekend is over and our chocolate hoard is likely diminished by now. Despite the four day weekend in many areas, there were still four new titles that were announced over those days. Well, three of them are new titles and one is a collection of titles that will be new to Xbox One. Let's take a look:
A few weeks ago, ID@Xbox held an event in Spain. At that event, developer Super Awesome Hyper Dimensional Mega Team revealed their new title Annihellation
. Apart from the title, however, very few details were revealed to the public. Now the title has been unveiled properly. The world that Alma inhabits has never been a paradise, but it's better than the hell that has been revealed on the other side of the portal. As one of the last Warrior Witches, she has been sentenced to death by the Order of Witchcraft. The alternative is to cross the portal into hell and redeem herself, but the world is fraught with danger, greed and a complete lack of trust. Even if she finds redemption, it may just come at the price of her sanity.
After a release on iOS and PC, Slitherine's board game is heading to Xbox One through ID@Xbox. Players take control of small squads in the middle of the D-Day campaign. They will face different scenarios of various sizes — tactical decisions combined with strategic use of unique units, equipment and abilities will be key to victory. There will be three campaigns, a fourth rogue-like mini campaign, skirmish matches and multiplayer modes. The title is "coming soon".
Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm LegacyLegacy
is not a new Naruto
title — that comes along in a minute. Instead, Legacy
brings Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 1
, Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 2
and Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3
to the Xbox One for the first time and includes them with Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4
for the ultimate remastered Naruto Shippuden
compilation. The collection of four titles can be purchased at retail with an exclusive metal case, art book and anime disc this fall. Alternatively, if you already own NS:UNS4, the Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Trilogy
will be available digitally and includes the first three remastered titles. The trilogy will also be available this fall.
As promised above, there is a new Naruto
title in development by Soleil Ltd. Featuring fan favourite Naruto
characters and teams from the series, such as Naruto, Sasuke, and Team 7, players will compete online in 4v4 matches with all eight ninjas taking part in the battles simultaneously. The title includes a "brand-new graphic style with vivid colors", but most important is the "dynamic third-person ninja gameplay style" where players can use vertical running and jumping to make use of elevated areas and environments with increased verticality. Will you become an elite ninja master? The title will be available for Xbox One but we don't have a release window.
Join us tomorrow for the rest of the weekend's news.
